My Students

My Head Start students love learning new things and are always excited for a new day at school. I am always looking for new, creative ways and materials to keep them engaged in their learning.

My 4 and 5 year old Head Start students attend a Title I school, with limited funds for resources and supplies.

At the beginning of the year, my students come to school ready to learn and grow. I am always so proud of how much each of my students grow during Head Start and enjoy the journey each year.

My Project

My students learn through play ever day. Having more directed learning activities, will help my students learn and grow.

This project will help my Head Start students build their brains through play.

Providing them with kinetic sand, art easel, bubbles, play clothes and water bead will give them lots of opportunities to explore and learn.

Children develop and strengthen their cognitive skills, physical skills, social skills, literacy skills, and develop new vocabulary from playing. All of these materials will help my students have opportunities for different types of play. This project will allow me to provide a classroom where every activity has a purpose and adds to my students learning.
