Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for items that will allow my students to learn through play. They will learn the alphabet with ABC mats and playdough, practice counting with counting games, and form letters with magnetic pieces. My students will treasure hunt for letters using tongs and letters in a sensory game, trace and write the alphabet and use hammers and plastic nails to develop their fine motor skills.
This project will allow my TK students to grow academically as well as form their independence and love for learning.
Center time will make learning more engaging and fun. Children at this age learn through play and that is exactly what this project will give them.
