it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The library is the most important part of my classroom. I am fascinated with having an organized library tailored to my students’ interests and needs. After seeing how much my students loved browsing the shelves in our classroom library, I promptly decided I need to have the shelves more organized. These book bins will be the key to our classroom library success! They will help provide structure and intention with my student’s book selection and will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. The math and literacy games are useful for the student’s learning development because using games in teaching can help increase student participation, foster social and emotional learning, and motivate them to take risks.
Having a laminating machine will assist me in creating reusable and reliable materials for student’s learning as it provides durability and extends the life of classroom supplies and decorations.
Headphones are a staple in the classroom. They help each child to work quietly and independently. They help to focus attention and is an interesting way to learn. My students will enjoy using these colorful headsets as they work on their devices daily. Dry erase markers are just more fun than pencil and paper and my students will enjoy using them on their Dry erase boards. On their dry erase boards, they can quickly write, erase, and rewrite what they’re working on, and it will give them a space to work out ideas.
All the supplies in the cart were chosen with the students' needs and interests in mind and will help to create a positive classroom environment and inspire students to learn.
