This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing humans who have been through a lot to be here studying in the states! They are always doing their best and teachers at our site are also doing their best to make everything accessible to them! However sometimes time is against us and not all content can be translated, these pens would help students have access to all content areas and allow them to really show how much they know! This educational tool would allow these students to understand their teachers, to advocate for themselves when needed. They would allow these students as they are in the beginning stages of learning English to have every opportunity to keep up academically with peers without language being a barrier.
