This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are third-fifth graders who are full of energy. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different environment. My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They love reading diverse books, participating in Makerspace activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious. I have a large population of English language learners. They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. My students are both general and special education students. They are all amazing kids!
This project would provide an air conditioner!
My scholars are unique, with vast personalities and such compassion for one another. They each have that special characteristic that is all their own. I have SWD and general education students and no one can differentiate between them. My scholars love new vocabulary and shocking others with their knowledge inside and outside the classroom. They are amazing and having a comfortable, cool learning environment will help them excel and reach their potential. An optimal learning environment is the first step to engaging the students in the classroom. Thanks!
