My Project

My second-grade students are building their learning foundations in all subject areas, especially in literacy and math. They are beginning to use the classroom visuals as aids to assist in their learning. It is so empowering for students to use information in their learning environment to help with spelling, sound recognition, vocabulary, and new mathematical concepts!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and having the ability to print resources in color brings learning to life!

Currently, my school and Second Grade team have the ability to print in black and white. Being able to print in color will increase student engagement. The printer's scanning ability will eliminate the tears of frustration when mistakes are made and young learners want to try again! I will have the ability to scan a quick copy during grade level planning, print learning resources for families to use at home, and I won't have to pay out of pocket for colored prints.
