Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Spring and Summer are quickly approaching and we want our students to have clean, cool air during these months. Our school is located in the Bronx which has the highest number of asthma cases. Many of our students receive medical care for asthma. We want our students to be as healthy as possible.
Our classroom does not have a working air conditioner and open windows allow pollution and allergens into the classroom.
An air purifier and fan will help filter the allergens and keep the classroom cool. Our learning continues until the end of June and our students deserve a healthy learning environment.
