Help me give my students alternative seating and a new library bench, as well as, a variety of hands on materials for literacy and math stations to differentiate and enhance learning opportunities!
My students are young and social-emotionally immature. They have been affected by Covid -19 in the aspect that many did not have the opportunity to attend preschool and/or engage with peers to learn problem solving and social skills.
Creating a comfortable classroom environment with a variety of seating and hands on manipulatives promotes sharing space and materials.
The alternative seating and storage bench will add to the comfort of my learning environment by providing student choice in seating and movement while engaged in learning. Additional materials will provide for hands on interactive learning that can be differentiated based on students learning levels, styles, and needs.
