Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In an effort to reignite student engagement and motivation, the teachers at my school have devised a plan to incentivize learning.
I am a firm believer in utilizing positive reinforcements to motivate and encourage students to work to the best of their ability throughout the entire year.
With state testing approaching, my school is looking to offer students some incentive to put forth their best effort every single day. During the three weeks of testing, students will be entered into a raffle. Every week, ten 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be chosen at random to receive a Dunkin' Donuts gift card. A total of 30 students will be selected. Dunkin' Donuts is the best option for an incentive as there are various stores located within walking distance in our district. Every single day, students can be seen carrying bags of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, or coffee from Dunkin' into school. Therefore, this reward will provide students with the motivation they need. We hope you can help bring this project and incentive plan to live in our school. We greatly appreciate your support!
