This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students are curious about everything that they see and hear and touch. Pre- K is a great time to mold the children’s minds and encourage them to use their creativity and imagination. I work diligently to provide different modes of experiences for my students to maximize their engagement and learning. Technology is conducive to a myriad of fundamental learning via various literacy and math apps. My Pre-K students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
My Project
An iPad will allow my students to use educational apps for math and literacy and to differentiate for individual students. Students are active in math and literacy centers each day. An iPad will give them another way to practice skills and increase their abilities to help us close achievement gaps.
Technology and education are changing every day.
This is the 21st Century.
An iPad will allow us to keep up with technological advances and give me one more tool to motivate students. There are many high quality apps available on iPads that will help my students with math and literacy.
