My Project
Many of my students struggle with trying to live an auditory nightmare. No matter how quiet we try to keep our classrooms, silence is an almost impossible task. From students coughing and chip clicking, to people slurping from their water bottles, to students tapping their feet, to the worst – group work.
For those who struggle with trying to focus while weeding out the sounds, school can be a nightmare.
The noises that are found in classrooms, cafeterias, and gymnasiums are treacherous for these students. The goal of this project is to provide quality headphones that will filter out and/or eliminate the intense noises. Whether the students are happy or struggling, they are my kids. They love to be included with their peers. They are special for many reasons. These headphones may not seem like much, but they will change the world for the students.
