Learning in Motion: Trampoline and Bouncy Bands Needed!

My students need a small trampoline and 10 bouncy bands for their chairs to help them stay focused!

My Students

"Life requires movement." - Aristotle ....and so does learning! This is especially so for my first grade students!

My students are outgoing and just like sponges!

All 19 of them enjoy learning new things everyday! Most of my students have lots of extra energy that sometimes makes it hard for them to focus on the material that is being taught. By having a bounce center (trampoline) and bouncy bands for their chairs, they will be able to focus more!

My Project

With the trampoline and bouncy bands in my room, I imagine that my students will be constantly engaged. By stimulating the brain, they will be able to focus and retain more information than they would by having to constantly sit still. My classroom is small, so the bouncy bands will be a great help and not take up any extra room.

Most of my students, and small children in general, have lots and lots of energy.

With so much energy, sometimes students tend to distract others or themselves and prevent learning to take place. With a bounce station and the bouncy bands, my hopes are that my students will be able to use their energy for to maximize their learning!
