My students need five tablets with headphones to use during Literacy Centers. Having an individual tablet will allow students to make progress in both listening and reading comprehension.
My students are the most energetic, enthusiastic kind-hearted five year-olds you'd ever want to meet. Each one of them has a special quality about them that makes them unique.
In our class we have only one rule, which is to "Treat others the way we want to be treated!" Each day my students strive to meet this goal and I am always impressed with the level of effort they put forth to show kindness to their fellow classmates.
My students are special children who deserve the very best life has to offer.
My Project
Technology is on the rise in everyone's life- even Kindergartners! My students need tablets and headphones to foster their independence during Literacy and Learning Centers.
By having an individual tablet each day a small group of students in my class will have the opportunity to engage in high interest literacy independently.
As Kindergarten learners, this is super important to build their confidence as they are learning to string together letters and sounds to form words and sentences. Following along with a focus on visual and auditory awareness on literacy tasks on the tablet will improve the students listening skills and sight word recognition, which will soon translate into independent reading.
