My Students
My students are hard working and eager to learn. They are kind, thoughtful, and creative. They come to school ready to grow socially and academically. My class is a 2nd grade integrated co-teaching classroom made up of general education students, English language learners, and students with disabilities.
My students are active and engaged in the classroom each day.
They come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse learning needs. Our school is a Title I school. Many students come from low-income families who may not be able to provide educational support or resources at home.
My students are enthusiastic about learning and work hard every day. They are compassionate and care for other people. They support one another academically, emotionally, and socially. They have HUGE hearts and deserve the best from everyone around them.
My Project
A color printer will make a big difference in my classroom because color is engaging! Color brings a brightness to our lives. A color printer can provide my students with vivid charts, visual aids, and tools that will support and enhance their daily learning. It would allow us to print photos, posters and charts for the classroom, as well as more appealing activities and assignments in color.
Having a printer in the classroom will also ensure that my co-teacher and I will have the materials needed to plan and create engaging lessons, resources and so much more for our students.
We will be able to print out important lesson planning documents and tools, individualized education plans for students with disabilities, data collection tools and reports, parent support materials, and any other resources needed for instruction. We will even be able to print out decodable books as well as reading and math games that support struggling learners.
Having a color printer in our classroom will surely brighten up each day in 2nd grade.
