Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are wonderful preschool students that are learning many pre-academic skills. A very important component in my classroom is for them to have interactive tangible objects and engaging outdoor centers.

Children learn new concepts as they engage in fun and interactive activities during choice and play time.

My students have different abilities and need a little help and fun materials to sustain their attention. The outdoor cart will help us stay organized and always have their exciting outdoor materials handy and ready to go. The light table manipulatives will help them engage and participate by providing colorful visuals and tangibles that they can label, match and explore as they learn language and practice different concepts (letters, shapes, numbers). The mini do a dots are always a hit and help them develop precision and strength as they have making letters or drawings with dots. Lastly, the lamination sheets are an ongoing essential in my class to create the different visuals that I use to facilitate their learning.
