Learning in a Flexible Way

My Students

Third grade is a great time to learn lots of new things. Sometimes it is hard for students to do their work on paper and in books all day long. I like to get my students involved in what they are learning and do it in different ways.

Each student learns in a different way.

This is what makes all of us so interesting and it is okay. Everyone is unique in their own way. We help each other along the way by being kind and honest.

We like to have morning meetings where everyone can share their thoughts and ideas. This helps us to build class community. I want to help my students learn in whatever ways help them most. I love all my students and want what is best for them.

My Project

During our daily 5 time in our class, students would be able to have a writing center. It would allow them to get out of their own seats and desks and work somewhere else in the room. There are five activities that each student does during this time. One of these activities is writing. My students learn the importance and structure of writing in a fun and creative way.

Flexible seating is a great way to get students engaged and learning in a fun way!

They can use the table and seats to work at while writing or they could take turns listening during the read aloud.

These materials would be so helpful in our classroom. I believe that with flexible seating my students will be able to enjoy their experience in the classroom.
