Learning in a Covid Safe World!

My Students

I have twenty students in my classroom which range from three to five years old. They had to qualify for the preschool program based on their families' economic needs at home, or if have a special need and are coming in with an IEP.

I am responsible for setting a positive, caring, and engaging environment for them.

I am their first school experience and want them to know learning can be fun so I can instill a lifelong love of learning. With your help, I can ensure my students have a wonderful experience in their first official year of schooling.

My Project

Hello and thanks in advance for coming to my page and looking at my project. As we all know, the past year has been the hardest one teachers, students, and parents have ever faced and it’s changed the way we learn in schools. My district has just recently returned to an in-person hybrid model for learning. I teach fifteen, wonderful preschoolers who are thrilled to be back in the classroom despite all the changes. We are in need of hands-on learning activities that can easily be cleaned between students.

My students need the Early Mathematics and Early Literacy Game Folder sets in order to help them learn the key concepts of counting, addition, subtraction, number recognition, patterns, phonemic awareness, letter knowledge, and vocabulary, while still remaining safe.

This will eliminate them having to share manipulatives; instead I can clean off the file folder activity in between each student. Having these file folder learning activities will also allow me to send them home with students to use during the rest of the week when they’re at home if they need additional support and practice.
