My Students

We are a proud little school of four hundred and fifty students. We may not be the highest school in the district, but we are a hardworking school. What we lack in test scores, we make up in growth and determination. Our students are hard workers who stay positive and enjoy working. We try to make our school a fun and safe place for students to learn in. Some of our teachers have taught parents, aunts, uncles and siblings of many of our students, and we do not have a large transient rate. We have many different languages and cultures represented and we try to acknowledge and celebrate them all. We are a neighborhood school.

My Project

Imagine learning about the early explorers and their ships, then being able to recreate one. Or learning about land forms and being able to create a map that shows them, or the tectonic plates. Needing a certain manipulative for math and being able to create it. Just learning to create something and then bringing it to life.

With a 3D printer, and 3D Doodle pens my students will have the opportunity to bring their learning to life.

They will have the chance to make things that they would only see in books or heard about. What an exciting way to learn!

Having and using a 3D printer and 3D Doodle pens will help them with their college and career readiness. As they grow and go through school, students will need to have working knowledge of new and existing technologies. i want to give my students as many advantages as I can on their journey through school.
