This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Softball is a one of our favorite after school sports to coach, but it can be a very difficult sport for students who have never played the sport before.

99% of our students have never played any for of recreational baseball or softball so they need as much practice as possible and a pitching machine will help them do exactly that.

In addition to the difficulties of teaching kids to hit the ball comes the difficulty of teaching them to pitch the ball, so our students that are leaning to hit are having difficulty when we do not have a consistent pitcher. I have also included the necessary accessories to help aide to help each athlete be able to practice individually.
