This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Comfortable students=empowered, productive, healthy learners. This project will allow me to offer flexible seating options for my students. Flexible seating options allow students to feel calm and comfortable. It also invites more collaboration in the classroom as students can move around the room with more ease.
Providing students with the ability to choose their seat allows them to feel empowered.
It also allows them to feel that they are in control of their own learning. They get to see where they learn best, whether it is in a traditional seat, sitting on the carpet, using a lap desk or a cushion.
