Learning Headphones

My students need headphones to enhance their reading and math abilities with the technology that we have.

My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. I have students that are from refugee families with little to no English abilities. I have students who live in the homeless shelters and need to have good strong support from our class.

My students want to be able to achieve the most with what they have.

My students work hard at everything that they do. They try new things, and support each other in all different ways. Our class is a strong learning family.

My Project

The headphones will enhance the students reading through the use of the internet reading program that our district has invested in. While allowing the teacher to teach small groups focusing on the students' needs in reading.

Headphones help aid the development of math and reading skills among all the students while using technology that they are already familiar with while also enhancing the learning of the language among English Language Learners.

The headphones will also give the students a chance to use the math program with little distraction to the rest of the class. The headphones also give non English speakers a closer tie to the new language.
