Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are learning 2 languages! They come to school ready to be challenged and immerse themselves in new learning opportunities. They speak, read, and write in both Hmong and English. I am extremely proud of them! They work hard every day!
My Project
My students will use their whiteboards and markers to write their responses during learning and show me their responses so that I can check for understanding. The pencil boxes will be used to store math manipulatives so that the manipulatives are organized and ready for students to use during math lessons. Construction papers will be used for art projects, and to allow students to use their creativity all year long. These school materials can provide my students with opportunities to grow and learn every day that they are in my classroom.
