This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second grade students are from low income families and most are English language learners. I would like to have some fun board games in the classroom so that my students can get some experience. Most of them are not used to playing board games at home.
These bingo games would be used to play as an independent activity when they finish their assigned tasks. They target various concepts such as letters, sounds, subtraction, addition, time, and rhyming words. The games would also provide skills practice and be fun at the same time.
I hope my students can get these games for the classroom. They will make independent work time fun and will make an indoor, rainy day a lot less hectic.
