Learning Games Help Make Learning Fun

My students need a language learning center, a phonemic awareness learning center, and an addition learning center.

My Students

Sitting still and listening to your teacher talk gets boring. Students need to be able to explore and learn on their own.

My students are eager to learn, energetic, funny kindergarteners.

This is the first year of school for most of them and they soak up everything I say. Most come from low income homes and school is their only opportunity to learn and grow. So I want learning to be fun for them.

My Project

I am requesting 1 Language learning center, 1 Phonemic Awareness learning center, and 1 Addition learning center. My students go to center time daily. These learning centers will help make center time more fun and exciting. Students learn best when they can touch and manipulate things. They will have more fun learning letters and sounds if they can see and touch things instead of just listening to me explain it to them.

These games will make my room more fun and exciting for my students.

It will keep them engaged and will help foster their love for learning. Studies show that students learn best when they can hands-on, and these games will help me achieve that in my classroom.
