This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to be transitioning to teaching second grade next year! I am planning to use the reading materials during our guided reading time while students are working in small groups. The math activities will be great as introductions to our day and things for them to do after we finish our lessons for the day. The writing and language activities will help them become grade level writers and beyond.

Second graders learn quickly and need fun and engaging activities to keep their brains working.

I plan to give them the best opportunities to learn and become their best selves. I want my students to prosper academically and grow to be bright young people. I am so excited to see how much they love these activities!
