My Project
The materials requested will support learning and playing with peers in various classroom settings. Students learn best through play and by offering hands-on activities that are inviting, of high interest, and age-appropriate. My goal is for the students to problem solve while working and sharing materials. The materials such as the counting boxes, the mystery box, sorting bears, and peg boards all incorporate working together and problem solving. Building peer relationships and learning how to collaborate with others during activities supports academic growth. Games and materials such as the beehive game and the sensory sand with manipulative requires the students to work together sharing materials builds communication, personal- social skills, and cognitive development. Materials requested also focuse on fine motors develop for preschool students.
