This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is located in the heart of South Los Angeles. My students are often exposed to gang violence, poverty, and broken homes. However, none of this stops them from trying their best.
My students are in 4th grade and in a Spanish Dual Language Program.
Despite the many hardships my students face daily, they attend school with smiles on their faces. My students are eager to learn and work hard at being their personal best!
My Project
Help me give my students a projector so they can learn from home. I will use the projector to deliver lessons to my 4th grade dual language students. The projector will help me teach virtual lessons as well as project worksheets, books, and textbooks. I will also be able to effectively teach engaging lessons.
Many of my students are visual learners, therefore a projector is essential for their academic success.
Students can follow and participate in lessons if they can see them projected through their computer screens.
Distance learning is a challenge for both me and my students, a projector and printer ink will help me make learning accessible for all my students.
