Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students this year are working really hard to readjust to being in the classroom! They are working so hard to believe in themselves and what they are capable of accomplishing. They strive for learning that is both visual and engaging in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable.
The use of the mini anchor charts allows for more anchor charts to be made and hung around the room for students to access learning.
It also allows room for students to be able to do group work. The Fuji film camera allows students to have memories captured quickly that they can cherish in the long run. A lot of them are learning to build new relationships so this would be amazing for them. The flexible seating allows for more wiggle room and for being able to relax while learning. The mini erasers are a great incentive for these students! They love seeing the collection they can make from their positive behavior.
I want to create an environment where my students are excited and ready to learn. I truly believe these materials can help achieve that!
