Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have some newcomer students from both Afganistan and the Congo. We are a dual language school with many English and Spanish students. We have precious few resources for our students that speak French, Pashto, and Dari. These young newcomers have an overwhelming task to learn English while adjusting to a completely new culture.
Our teachers need these resources to help foster language development.
These bright colorful cards and games will help students to explore the world around them. It will increase their opportunities to speak and to listen. These young students will thrive and enjoy learning new things.
