My students come from a variety of backgrounds. They are very diverse, as our school services a coastal area that is rapidly growing and changing. Many of my students come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of them come to school with few educational experiences other than what they receive within school walls and with concerns to meet everyday needs.
This is my first year in the Gifted and Talented classroom and I have heard great things about Byrdseed TV and the experiences it provides.
Deep and critical thinking is my overall goal in this classroom this year!
My Project
This program is known for its differentiation among educators. This site will help me reach all different types of learners while helping them creatively problem solve. This resource provides students with fully formed lessons and asks them to think originally to solve problems or create new ways of doing something. While using this resource in the classroom, this is also a great option if we have virtual days. It's engaging, fun, and the kids will love to see what the next challenge is from Byrdseed TV! I look forward to using this resource.
