Bit by Little Bit Helping Student Learning Come Alive

My students need Little Bits coding and Steam Packs with a Pro Library of additional Little Bit Resources.

My Students

My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 11th and 12th grade physics students. My students thoroughly enjoy learning physics by playing with toys so I try and provide as many as possible in my class room for them to do so without them realizing how much they are learning.

We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. They are always motivated by real world applications of what we are learning and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities.

My Project

The use of these Little Bit Educational packages will allow my students to experience design and engineering within a science classroom. This project will combine circuits and sensor technologies within earth systems and energy flows within multiple scientific systems.

Students would undertake design challenges to understand mechanical and energy systems.

The students would be able to have the opportunity to explore using the diverse little bit components to generate creative products and innovative solution to complex geological systems. Students would harness their knowledge of science and the creative freedom to solve design problems in new and exciting ways. I hope to spark both the student learning and their creative abilities.

In this technological world, any interaction with coding, design, and circuits will increase both their science literacy as well as their desire to learn.
