This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For the last 25 years that I have been teaching, I have been using learning centers to help my students. The centers are independent activities that allow the scholars to practice their phonemic awareness, phonics, reading and writing skills. After years of use, the centers are ripping and falling apart.
With the materials I am requesting, I will be able to update my centers.
I will be able to make the centers more durable for years to come. My students will be able to focus more on the activity and less if the center fell apart.
