My Students

I have two classes of 25 energetic and curious kindergartners who love to learn and thrive from using hands-on and engaging activities. My students have different levels of learning abilities including resource services, speech services, and ELL students. In addition, due to the pandemic many students have never attended any preschool or pre-k classrooms before entering Kindergarten this year. This has created many emotional, social, and academic needs in many of my students that I have not seen in previous years.

My Project

These activities will help my students engage in hands-on meaningful learning activities which will increase their skills in math, reading, and science. These materials will be used during learning centers at school as a way to develop their academic skills as well as their social skills. They will be learning to become independent learners and discover that their curious minds can create almost anything. It will also provide students with valuable activities for those who finish work early to utilize all the learning time possible for each student and their ability.
