My Students

We are a Title I K-12 charter school. My students are passionate about learning and look forward to coming to class every day. I want to provide the best learning environment as possible to encourage their love of learning. As a newer school, we are continually working to increase the opportunities available to our students. We do more with less, and it shows.

My Project

The requested resources will provide my students with the opportunity to engage in fun learning activities that allow them to practice social and academic skills at the same time. Hands-on learning is something students in my class look forward to and find stress-free when it comes to learning or practicing new skills. These resources will add a bit of sweetness to what students sometimes view as an overwhelming task when it’s just paper and pencil. Right now, students feel very overwhelmed with life and they need non-stressful learning experiences that will help them be able to focus on material in less demanding ways. Something all students need now and in the future.
