The best part of my classroom is my students. My second graders love to share and are open to new ideas.They enjoy working together the most-whether it is with one partner or with a group! It is so rewarding to see the positive relationships they are forming and the care and support they show for one another. I am consistently impressed with what they can accomplish when they work as a team.
My Project
My second graders have been so resilient throughout this pandemic. Between social distancing and mask restrictions, school has not been the same for them. What has stayed the same? They love to go outside! I want to provide them with a change of scenery in which they can breath a little easier.
An outdoor learning space would allow for a safe, engaging environment for my students.
I have a great outdoor patio but lack seating. My students need picnic tables to sit, collaborate, and make up for learning loss. We are all in this together!
