Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Traditional classroom setups- pencil,paper, and desks in rows- are a thing of the past. Learning styles vary from scholar to scholar, making differentiation essential for meaningful instruction. To truly impact all learners, we must embrace strategies that support unique needs, especially for those undergoing Response to Intervention or the (RTI) process.
Beyond academics, some scholars might require interventions that address focus and engagement.
By using bands for chairs, we can allow for kinesthetic movement, allowing students to release energy while still maintaining focus. Velcro on desks provides tactile stimulation, helping learners channel their attendiont through sensory input. Most importantly, individual timers foster independence, encouraging self-regulation and reinforcing self-efficacy.
When we recognize and support diverse learning needs, we create an inclusive and effective educational environment. Let's provide scholars with the tools they need to thrive-because every learner deserves an opportunity to succeed.
