"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach them to learn by creating curiosity, they will continue the learning process as long as they live." My students love to learn new things! They are kind, caring, and creative children and willing to learn. Many of my students are visual learners and love to be interactive in many of the lessons taught. They love to read books, draw, and write stories. What they love the most though, is using technology. Technology plays an important part in the classroom. The students get excited every time they get to use any form of technology, whether it be a tablet or a laptop it makes them excited to learn. They are curious to learn and ask questions about things that surround them and how they work.
My Project
Digital tools are a powerful tool to help students with learning disabilities. This helps them to communicate and gain confidence in their learning. The students in my class are visual learners and want to lead in their own learning.
Technology plays a big part in my classroom by how my students in both ELA and Math are on different levels.
In addition, I incorporate station learning, where I have my students work on different skills. Students rotate with different learning skills that meet their own needs. All students get the chance to working a technology station where they get to use a tablet or a laptop. MY students can use the tablets to practice different ELA and Math skills within those stations. Tablets can help differentiate lessons by levels and learning styles. This than helps meet each students individual needs. Finally, by having a iPad it makes the students feel confident in their learning to help them be successful and excited about learning.
