"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach them to learn by creating curiosity, they will continue the learning process as long as they live." My students students love to learn new things! They are kind, caring, and creative children and willing to learn. Many of my students are visual learners and love to be interactive in many of the lessons taught. They love to read books, draw, and write stories. What they love the most though, is using technology. They are curious to learn and ask questions about things that surround them and how they work.
My Project
Digital tools area powerful tool to help students with learning disabilities communicate and gain confidence in their learning. The students in my class are visual learners who want to lead in their own learning.
Technology plays a big part in my classroom by helping my students in both ELA and Math be on the level that they are.
In addition my students participate in station learning in order to reach their own individual goal. My students can use the iPad to practice different ELA and Math skills within stations. The iPad can help differentiate lessons by levels and learning styles, so it can meet the needs of each students. This will make more students confident in their learning. Not only is the iPad important to help my students become even more successful, it will also help keep them engaged within their learning.
