My Project
Hello! I have 52 students in my math class this year and they are a hard working and kind-hearted group of ten and eleven year olds! For many of them, the pandemic began when they were in third grade. Due to the pandemic, there are many learning gaps that need to be addressed in the classroom. Shifting to a more personalized learning approach, where instruction meets the needs of each individual learner, will help fill in their learning gaps. The bean bags, stadium chairs, and math activities will help engage students in their learning and in the process allow the take ownership of their learning as they decided how and where they want to learn.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
