Learning and Organizing as We Go!

My students need binders, folders, and pencil pouches to learn organizational skills while completing individual, group, and center work. Each student will need the news ruled white paper to learn to write with correct spacing.

My Students

Teaching in a low-income high poverty school district, I see the challenges both in and out of the classroom that my students are faced with daily. Despite those challenges, my students are caring, loving, and smart individuals who thrive when learning through movement and hands on projects.

I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun learning environment where students have creative and meaningful learning experiences.

Each student is eager to learn and works hard to gain the skills needed to become life long learners.

My Project

I am requesting the three-ring binders and the pencil pouches to enhance the learning and organization skills of my kindergartens. The three-ring binders will be used during our center time, as well as carpet time. These will allow students to participate individually and be more engaged during carpet time. The binders will provide a hard surface for students to complete writing exercises as whole group instruction in addition to the white boards that we currently use. The binders will allow students to keep all of their work organized in one spot while moving around the room during center time too.

Your generous donation will support the development of good organization skills while allowing students to be engaged during their hands on work requiring movement in the classroom.

I provide all required supplies and most materials for each student in my classroom. The pencil pouches will help with organizational skills being taught as well as responsibility. It will allow me to shift the responsibility of keeping their required materials from myself to the students. Students will be encouraged to take care of and claim ownership of their own supplies.
