This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My middle school students are from many different backgrounds. Each of them has different needs in order to learn, in my opinion, the most comprehensive and interesting curriculum...science! They love having a guinea pig as their classroom pet. It has helped with building connections, classroom management, and responsibility.
My students love learning with hands-on experiences, labs, and experiments.
I want to engage my middle school students with what we are learning and make it come to life for them. Being a pre-teen and teenager is a difficult time in their lives. I want my classroom to be a safe haven where they come to learn, have fun and become lifelong learners.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find new and different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers. I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade-level resources and activities for my students. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, and relevant. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will greatly help with effective planning and will be highly beneficial for my students as it will give me access to thousands of resources. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are creative and highly engaging really.
