Teaching kindergarten at a Title I school has its challenges but I absolutely love giving students new opportunities for learning. I have a handful of lap desks in my classroom and they are such a huge hit when we do directed drawings and writing lessons, I would love for all of my students to have access to a lapdesk during those times.
Kindergarteners can't just sit at a desk or table all day - they need the ability to get up and move around the room.
These lapdesks, clipboards, and lined whiteboards will give us more flexibility for learning from all over the room. The STEM toys will give students the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with their hands - an important skill in kindergarten!
