This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are a wonderful bunch of creative and kind third graders. They are enjoying being back in school with their classmates and friends! They come to school each day with a bright smile, ready to learn! The majority of students in our school come from low-income households. Our class consists of English language learners and general education students.
My Project
I have a class of wonderful third graders who are English language learners and general education students who come from various ethnic backgrounds. With a mobile easel, our class will be able to learn from different sections around our room, including in our small groups. Modeling is essential in the primary grades! The easel will allow for modeling with ease by keeping students in close proximity and engaged in the lesson that I am presenting. With an easel that is dry-erase and magnetic, the options for learning and student engagement are endless! Having a mobile easel that we can easily roll around the room will allow our class to share, work, and learn from each other across all content areas!
