Help me give my students a furthered learning experience in global culture. After reading books with characters from other countries, and their own experiences in our diverse military community my class has asked for more learning materials!

My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds across our country, they are all military Children. By kindergarten, many of my students have already moved 3+ times.

In our classroom we really like to learn not only about our community, and the communities around us, but about other countries.

As military families, sometimes we move far away or the people we love move far away - it's really cool to learn about those places, and see just how similar we are to people all over the world. It's also really cool to see how some things we do are different, and that we are all still really amazing. My kindergarteners are building empathy, kindness, and compassion.

My Project

We are part of a global community, these materials requested by my Kindergarteners will help them learn about the community they are part of. My goal in teaching so much about other countries and cultures is teach my students that across the globe, we have many similarities some differences but most important we are all human.

The student population at my school is diverse, each student deserves to see themselves represented in our learning materials.

The multi-cultural dolls will be a great asset to all my students as they learn about them, buddy ready with them, play with them.

Each item donated has a purpose and will be used again with my class each year. Thank you for helping my class grow.
