Help me give my students new more rugged Chromebooks to learn about the world.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Farmer's classroom raised $544

My Students
Our middle school has approximately 800 students. We are a diverse community school in a large school district. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds but all have a willingness to learn. Many of our teachers are innovators in their fields and are trying to accommodate the needs of all of our students.
My students are energetic and love to learn.
They are curious about the world around them. I would love to make my classroom more engaging to fit the needs of all of my students.
My Project
Students in my class would love to see and explore the world. Since we can't actually travel the world we can do the next best thing, bring it to us. Chromebooks will allow students to explore the world and map their explorations.
The hands-on experience of mapping the globe will help students better understand the world we live in.
By using the Chromebook, students can use Google Earth to explore our planet. They can explore local and far away places. Google Expeditions allows students to go on virtual field trips anywhere on the globe. And Google My Maps lets students plot and plan their route and make trails to anyplace they might want to travel. To make this happen students need access to newer, updated Chromebooks that are made for everyday classroom use.
Thank you for your support of students and their adventurous spirit!
