My students need hands-on materials to learn about the world and their emotions such as puppets, puzzles, and books.

My Students
Learning about other cultures early in life helps build understanding.
My students are bright and fun loving kindergarten students who love to learn.
My students are from a low income neighborhood. Their favorite subjects are science and social studies. Unfortunately these are the subjects we have the least amount of materials for.
My Project
The materials I am requesting are books that tell the students about children all over the world. The other materials are puppets so the students can act out community helpers doing their jobs. I am also requesting puzzles that show emotions that the students experience on a daily basis.
My project is important because it will give my students a chance to understand what life is like outside of our country.
It will provide them with a chance to play with our community helpers.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
