This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When you are young, navigating through your emotions can be really hard. Just trying to identify an emotion can be challenging for kindergarteners. Every year, we learn and teach about emotions we can be feeling at any given time.
Through reading and play, my students are better able to identify the emotions they are feeling.
With these books, they can possible relate to the characters.
The past few years, I have been trying to incorporate more fun social emotional learning activities. By adding the Spot kit, I will be able to add some fun and exciting stories to our class. We can also incorporate different subjects as well with the Spot bundle. With your help, I will be able to give the students a variety of ways to learn about and recognize different types of emotions they are having.
