My Students
Do you remember when going to art class was the most exciting part of your school day? Being able to use paint, glue and colorful paper. Being able to get messy and creative. Creating amazing colorful projects. Learn about nutrition through Art can be fun and exciting for students with disabilities
I teach students who are classified as emotionally disturbed.
My students have difficult expressing their emotions and focusing on classroom lessons. My students learn best when they are able to create by bring their classroom lessons to life through art. My students attend a self contained special needs school integrated in a community district school.
My Project
Your donation of paint, paint brushes, paper, glitter frames for the painting and glue will change my students lives for the better because they will be able to bring to life and focus what they learn through art. This project will assist my students in becoming life long healthy eaters. My students will learn what types of foods will be nutritious to eat for a healthy snack. My students will create what they learned by painting and/or drawing their favorite healthy snacks.
Your donation will be truly beneficial to my students because it will help to focus on learning about nutrition through creating.
This way my students will grow up healthy because they learned to choose healthy snacks.
