My Students
Our school is such a special place. We are a Title I school as well as a Media Magnet school. We have students from all over the world. So many countries are represented. 100% of our students receive free or reduced price lunch.
Being a Media Magnet school, we strive for our students to be 21 Century learners with hands on experiences.
As an inner-city Title I school, our students don't always have the experiences that we would like for them to, but with your help we could bring them closer.
My Project
Each year in the spring our students learn about life cycles. We explore the growth and change of ladybugs, plants, butterflies and chickens. We like to bring this learning into all aspects of our day, from reading to science as well as including our exploration centers. The puzzle center is one of the exploration center choices during this time.
These life cycle puzzles would bring a fun way for our students to review the sequence of the different life cycles and would be something that could be used by students for years to come.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
