This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars have a genuine enthusiasm about learning. Our school is classified as title one but you would not know it because our scholars step into a place where they are thought of being the most important people in this world. I love their genuine values of friendship, love for their families and effort into every project I introduce.
Many of my students are English learners and hands on activities enrich their learning because they are able to make connection to core content while practicing.
My Project
These materials will make our project possible and significant this school year. I would like each of my students to have the opportunity to building a solar automobile. My students will be learning about energy and one of the most expensive materials that we need are the solar panels and the motors to make this invention come to life. Lessons will become meaningful if my students have this unique opportunity.
My special emphasis is for my students to learn about energy and to manipulate materials that will teach them to see how electric current moves as well as how is transferred to make things move.
